Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Shy Tomato (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Shy Tomato is a recipe management application that allows you to save, organize, and view recipes extracted from URLs you provide. The Service includes a web application and a browser extension.

Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable use
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

Content and Intellectual Property

Recipes you save through the Service are extracted from third-party websites. Shy Tomato does not claim ownership of recipe content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of saved recipes complies with the original source's terms.

The Shy Tomato application, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Shy Tomato. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the application without permission.

Subscriptions and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected interval until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Shy Tomato is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
